I'm Fadi Atieh. I was born and raised in Syria, where I spent the first 18 years of my life. I later moved to the United States to study Mathematics and Computer Science at MIT, where I completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees.
My background spans a mix of theoretical math, software engineering, and machine learning. I’ve worked as a quantitative researcher and engineer in finance, and I currently live in Chicago. This blog documents my ongoing projects, technical experiments, and thoughts on topics ranging from reinforcement learning and macroeconomics to infrastructure and voice AI.
I use this space to share what I’m learning, explore new ideas, and occasionally reflect on career, research, and long-term goals.
